Wednesday, February 27th marked the 20th Annual Business Awards hosted by the Washington County Chamber of Commerce during its 100th year in our community. GHC membership was represented in all six categories of awards. GHC member finalists were Mike Fitzgerald, B.J. Goetz of Middletown Valley Bank, Dr. Mitesh Kothari of Capital Women's Care, LLC, Dr. Boyd Michael of Washington County Public Schools, Jason Rappaport of Innovative Incorporated, Julie Rohm, Randy Scott, and Dan Spedden of Visit Hagerstown.
The awards ceremony is always well attended and is just one of the many ways in which our local Chamber recognizes the hard work and achievements of individuals and businesses in our community. We thank Paul Frey, President of the Chamber, another GHC member, for his and the Chamber staff's efforts to make such a memorable night for all the nominees.
Congratulations to the winners of the evening: Mike Fitzgerald (Young Professional of the Year), Middletown Valley Bank (Large Business of the Year), and Randy Scott (Business Person of the Year). The Greater Hagerstown Committee is fortunate to have a membership comprised of so many altruistic, and forward thinking members from our community, and we look forward to celebrating with the finalists and winners from GHC again next year![caption id="attachment_1016" align="alignnone" width="225"] B.J.
